We are currently seeking a self-motivated3rd Shift Productions Associate (Inspector)with positive engagement and collaborative energy to join our team and support the continued growth of the New Hampshire Facility. The3rd Shift Productions Associate (Inspector)will be responsible for ensuring the production/packaging cell team on the production line is actively engaged to meet the daily production plan and on-time delivery of customer orders and to ensure that safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. NOTE: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Working with the Production Supervisor/Group Leader provide work cell leadership guidance and direction for the purposes of responding to and giving direction to department employees relative to operational and quality requirements.
  • Work with supervisor and other team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.
  • Participate as an active member of the production assembly/packaging team following detailed assembly instructions processes and procedures.
  • Complete in-process quality checks and inspections and complete appropriate inspection reports.
  • Complete production and quality documentation including job travelers and DHR documents.
  • Report problems or concerns with quality processes equipment materials and labor to Production Supervisor/Group Leader.
  • Work closely with support staff such as Technicians Engineering and Materials/Warehouse to resolve issues.
  • Complete lot acceptance activities for assigned assembly cell.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Production Supervisor.
  • Sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
  • Execute and coordinate employee training to ensure that procedures are followed and meet all quality requirements.
  • Assist with preparation of annual employee performance reviews by providing input to Production Supervisor regarding respective employee performance.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Overtime may be required and the Cell Leader must be able to work such scheduled hours with his/her team.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma / GED or relevant experience.
  • 5-7 years experience in medical device (or similar) assembly/packing/inspection environment desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer/PC experience; Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) desirable;

  • Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to function successfully in team environment; able to lead/collaborate with team members and gain buy-in through effective communication and team-oriented problem solving.
  • Effective listening and good communication skills (verbal/written) ability to issue clear instructions.
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Consistent high degree of attention to detail accurate completion of various forms / documents.
  • Ability to comprehend and retain working knowledge of complete product line.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to promote and encourage process improvement initiatives to department staff.
  • Good organization skills demonstrated concern for good housekeeping.

Individual will need to sit (at times for extended periods) or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface during the workday. Reaching above shoulder heights below the waist or lifting as required to move materials during the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.

Work Environment

The work environment is a light production warehousing shipping setting with primarily overhead lighting. The space is temperature controlled and the air quality is good. At times individual will need to transition in and out of clean room production portion of space.
