About the role
We are seeking outstanding educators to inspire and mentor the next generation of Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology students. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at Glendale Campus.
As a TAFE NSW Teacher your role is to guide and enhance the learning process. You will be passionate and motivated to share your extensive industry experience and you will have proven experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment. This is your chance to build the skills qualifications and employability of our students and support their career goals.
About You
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have appropriate subject knowledge skills and hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (desirable to have been obtained through an apprenticeship process).
- Have a minimum of 5 (five) years post-qualification experience part of which has been gained in the last 3 (three) years.
- Hold a Fair-Trading NSW tradesperson certificate (license) in the class of Motor Mechanic OR if applying from Interstate only applicants must be Eligible to obtain a Fair-Trading NSW Tradesperson certificate.
- Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
