Were looking for a Service Director to lead and inspire our service operations across multiple branch locations. Under the direction of the COO this high-impact role will be responsible for the daily operations of the service team directing and coordinating the service department leadership to accomplish daily operations related to shop and road technicians as well as warehouse operations at required levels of excellence. This role is based at our corporate headquarters in Jessup MD and will oversee all Alliance Material Handling East locations; initial responsibilities will include our Jessup MD Winchester VA Richmond VA and Chesapeake VA branches.

What Youll Do:
- Lead day-to-day operations of shop road service and warehouse teams across multiple branch locations
- Drive a culture of customer satisfaction ownership and operational excellence
- Develop and implement service department best practices across locations
- Develop and maintain all service organization metrics and provide required documentation to report KPIs: budgets estimatesutilization rates technician hours shop work status backlog billable hours work orders and cost analysis
- Support recruiting training and development of service department staff
- Coach and evaluate team members; handle performance management and disciplinary actions as needed
- Travel to customer sites and AMH locations to provide leadership support and oversight
- Resolve escalated customer service issues with professionalism and urgency
- Promote a collaborative and high-morale work environment
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience managing people and operations in a B2B or industrial environment
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Strong leadership and motivational skills - able to drive team performance and culture
- Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage through change and lead by example
- Technical and operational knowledge of industrial equipment is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly between AMH East branch locations
