Job Description

Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Cleveland OH
Business Unit: Team Wendy
Purpose of Position:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure the efficient safe and high-quality production of goods. This role drives team performance coordinates resources and ensures adherence to production schedules while fostering a culture of continuous improvement accountability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
PRODUCTION
  • Work with all departments to provide a safe manufacturing environment for all employees
  • Work with all Shift Supervisors/Line Leads to standardize and harmonize work practices
  • Ensure quality standards and production targets are met (Output Labor and Scrap) in all manufacturing areas and shifts work with the Game Plan concept to ensure weekly production figures are met.
  • Manage the allocation of the entire work force for all shifts: allocate responsible Line Leads to each department
  • Utilize Business management tools and measures for each department
  • Support Buyer Planner to ensure Production Schedule is completed/report any road blocks
  • Support the business as necessary to achieve the targets set by Value Stream Manager
  • Ensure all manufacturing is conducted by fully trained employees and to the current SOPs and WIs
  • Assign work for the supervisors and line leaders
  • Support the introduction development and training of new products and special processes
  • Ensure all Time cards and vacation requests are approved and ready for Payroll.
  • Monitor and maintain all production employees ADP schedules attendance and issue employee counseling form when needed.
  • Attend tier 12 and 3 meetings
  • Support CI to ensure 5S audits are completed appropriate metrics are tracked and Kaizens receive necessary support.
  • Promote FIERCE values
FACILITY
  • Maintain records and monitor physical security for the site and assist the FSO.
  • Create badges and control site access to the plant
  • Support Maintenance Manager with Facility projects and complete PAFS/REQs as needed
  • Approve REQs and monitor spending for the Facility Maintenance Department
  • Support Maintenance Manager with hiring and training of new staff
HR Support
  • Hiring and termination of production employees
  • Develop implement and enforce all Avon policies and communicate policy changes to the team
  • Conduct investigations with HR regarding employee conflicts
  • Assist HR with leave monitoring
Qualifications
High School Degree or equivalent
10 years relevant experience in leadership and in a manufacturing environment

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland OH is $89000 to $115000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job type and years of experience within the industry education etc.
