Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform simple refinishing of production molds as necessary including use of Scotch Brite pads padding mold or using putty knife to clean rails of any loose contaminants
- Perform extensive refinishing of mold surface for more severe defects in mold repair shop
- Prepare new molds for production using sandpaper Scotch Brite pads or electric sander
- Notify Casting Manager and/or Casting Supervisor of any mold conditions that cannot be repaired
- Use company vehicle to pick up or deliver production molds to and from offsite locations
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to demonstrate comprehension of positional work instructions
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical inclination
- Ability to work in a fas
- Ability to communicate with hourly employees and management personnel
- Ability to operate stand up or sit down fork truck and become certified
- Able to work overtime including weekends
- Must have valid TX Driver license and be insurable
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate or GED
