Were looking for a passionate and curious Laboratory Manager to join our team. What Youll Do:

• Ensure that all areas of a complex high throughput compound management operation run safely on schedule and with the highest level of quality.
• Supervise and train staff at the SM Lab Technician Operator and Associate Scientist levels. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of Titian Mosaic as it pertains to Evotec Sample Management Operations.
• Act as primary liaison between Evotec Informatics Information Technology and Titian to ensure inventory applications meet the needs of both clients and operational staff.
• Provide hands-on support daily in the laboratory managing technical and operational issues as required.
• Could operate various liquid handlers and automation as it pertains to sample management.
• Interact with management at all levels.
• Build and maintain a schedule for complex high throughput compound management operations.
• Advanced capability with Excel and other software suites.
• Collaborate with the Automation Engineering function to support Operations and the needs of client workflows.

Who You Are:

• Must have a demonstrated record of achievement within sample management operations.
• Experience managing and developing technical and operations staff.
• Experience with Titian Mosaic including development testing is a significant advantage.
• Collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and analyse spreadsheets to evaluate data and make recommendations.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines and associated pressures.
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in a life science field with at least 6 years of experience working in a lab and 1-2 years with direct reports.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $66000 to $95000; Base salary offered may vary depending on the individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
