A Day in the Life:
Ensure all tools and small engine equipment are to manufacture specs and are kept in a safe working condition
Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
Order necessary parts for repairs
Use various hand tools and mechanical equipment (including diesel electrical and hydraulics)
Keep all paperwork current
General labour duties as required
Will be required to perform on-site repairs
Travel will be required
What you bring:
Knowledge of roofing equipment.
Hand tool experience.
Experience working with small engines.
A small engine license is preferred but not necessary.
Welding Hydraulic and Pneumatic repairs experience an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Detail orientated.
Team player with a proactive safety-oriented mind set.
Valid Class G Drivers License is required.
Must provide own tools*.
