The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center ranked No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and No. 2 hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report is seeking an outstanding accomplished physiatrist with clinical and administrative leadership competencies to assume full responsibility for an expanding sports medicine/MSK program within a complex healthcare system covering 3 (three) major hospitals and their associated outpatient clinics.
The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation chaired by Dr. Heakyung Kim provides services at Parkland Memorial Hospital Clements University Hospital and their affiliated outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with residents fellows and medical students in one of the largest PM&R training programs in the U.S. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Role Responsibilities and Duties:
The ideal candidate will provide high quality comprehensive clinical care to inpatients and outpatients as assigned. Teaching responsibilities will include medical students PM&R residents and fellows in didactic lectures and group settings as well as participation in various multidisciplinary conferences. Research will vary depending on the candidates interest.

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent
ABPMR Board certified/eligible
