Location: May be located in any Elevance Health PulsePoint office preferably in Indianapolis IN Atlanta GA Mason OH Richmond VA Norfolk VA or Woodland Hills CA.

This role requires associates to be in-office at least 3days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered. Summary

The Staff Vice President of Implementation and Execution is responsible for leading the execution and implementation of Commercial products client customizations mandates and large-scale strategic priorities for the Commercial business unit. . This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of mandates optimizing resource allocation managing the intake and prioritization of new work and ensuring the business needs are fully understand and met throughout execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills a consultative approach and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Initiative Implementation: Lead the execution of organizational priorities by customizing strategies to meet specific business needs and ensuring alignment with overarching objectives.

  • Resource Allocation: Oversee the distribution of resources to various initiatives ensuring that teams have the necessary support to implement effectively.

  • Consultative Collaboration: Engage with Commercial business segment and market leadership to understand their operations and provide expert guidance on executing strategic initiatives fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Demand Management: Manage the intake process for new projects and initiatives evaluating their alignment with strategic goals and prioritizing them accordingly.

  • Pipeline Preparation: Anticipate upcoming projects and organizational needs preparing the necessary groundwork to facilitate smooth execution and delivery.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the progress of strategic initiatives ensuring timely adjustments to stay on track with organizational goals.

Position Requirements

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years experience which includes strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Industry Experience

  • Broad & deep understanding of the health care industry.

Large-Scale Implementation

  • Proven experience working with significant large-scale implementation and execution experience.

  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices in execution and strategic implementation gained through extensive training and exposure within such organizations.

Leadership & Strategic Execution:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute strategic initiatives that align with business objectives and drive organizational success.

  • Experience in customizing and implementing strategies to meet specific business needs while ensuring alignment with overarching company goals.

Resource Management:

  • Strong capability in overseeing and optimizing resource allocation across various business units ensuring adequate support and effective project implementation.

Consultative Approach:

  • Expertise in collaborating with cross-functional teams utilizing a consultative approach to understand operations and provide strategic guidance.

  • Ability to foster a collaborative environment and effectively engage with business units to ensure successful execution of initiatives.

Demand & Pipeline Management:

  • Proven experience in managing project intake processes evaluating alignment with strategic goals and prioritizing initiatives effectively.

  • Skilled in anticipating organizational needs and project demands preparing groundwork to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex scenarios and making informed decisions that align with business objectives.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Ability to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of strategic initiatives making necessary adjustments to achieve organizational goals.

Organizational Dynamics:

  • Proficiency in navigating complex organizational structures and dynamics adapting strategies to fit within them effectively.

Communication Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders ensuring clear understanding and execution of strategic initiatives.

Other:

Masters degree preferred.

Project Management experience and PMP preferred.

Corporate Title: Staff VP Portfolio Planning/Program Execution

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s) the salary* range for this specific position is $162000 to $280140.

Locations: California
