Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to join a pharmaceutical company and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operation. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a small team setting.
The successful candidate will work in our Manufacturing function and:
- Perform routine operations to support manufacture of injectable drug products. Primary tasks include component preparation cleaning sterilization depyrogenation formulation filtration filling freeze drying and capping.
- Achieve proficiency in operating various process equipment such as components washer steam sterilizer dry heat oven vial washer lyophilizer and vial capper.
- Maintain inventory levels and stock supplies for manufacturing areas.
- Complete accurate documentation and review and maintain area and equipment logbooks.
- Plan efficient execution of assigned workload.
Attributes required for the position:
- High school diploma or equivalent with proven mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.
- Able to work independently in a sterile environment while wearing clean room clothing including a sterile gown hood masks and safety glasses for 4 to 6 hours at a time.
- Ability to be on ones feet for extended periods 4 to 5 hours at a time. Routinely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 15 to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work with cleaning agents formulation chemicals and hot water in a safe manner according to procedure(s).
- A self-motivated team player that enjoys contributing to the success of the overall manufacturing team.
