JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the medical staff including credentialing privileging payer enrollment and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Medical Staff Coordinator acts as a liaison between medical staff administration and regulatory agencies ensuring that all processes are aligned with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Type: Full-time 80 hours per 2 week pay period
Typical hours: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
Education:
- High School diploma- required
- Associates degree- preferred
License/certification:
- NAMSS CPCS Exam within three (3) years of position start date- required
Experience:
- Five (5) years of experience in healthcare related field- required
