Job Description
This position is 100% On-site.
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday every other Thursday 6pm-6am
Job Summary
This position provides both administrative and technical support to the Quality Engineering team. The successful candidate will assist with various quality-related functions including audits inspections data preparation and product launch support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the creation and maintenance of visual aids for production and quality use.
Assist Quality Engineers and Technicians in day-to-day engineering tasks.
Compile and prepare raw data for quality analysis.
Conduct routine process and product audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Participate in new product introductions and experiments as assigned by leadership.
Review defect samples and validate purge processes.
Assist in configuring MES systems for both new and existing products.
Track and support the execution of Deviation Authorizations (DA) Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Review and help disposition non-conforming materials and products.
Support production inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Prior experience in a quality or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Associates degree in a technical field is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electronic component handling is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members leadership and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to identify problems gather data and draw logical conclusions.
Proficiency with personal computers including Windows operating systems and relevant software applications.
Advanced PC skills particularly with spreadsheets and data organization.
Ability to understand and create basic written correspondence and follow visual instructions.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standardized procedures.
Basic math skills including the ability to calculate ratios percentages and interpret graphs.
