First aid and mental health training forms an integral part of this work by skilling people in the community with training skills which could save a life.

About the role

Red Cross Training Services is a nationally recognised training provider delivering quality outcomes for our clients through relevant training and education programs.

Red Cross Mental Health trainers are responsible for ensuring the delivery of non-accredited Mental Health courses on behalf of Red Cross First Aid & Mental Health RTO ID 3605 within a classroom setting.

Supported by anational administrative team you will ensure training and all relevant resources are set up and delivered to a professional standard meeting WHS Mental Health First Aid Australia and Red Cross Standards.

What you will bring

  • Must be a current and accredited MHFA Instructor.
  • Experience in facilitating training in community and corporate settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to engagestudents with capacity for compassion and understanding given the content of the sessions.
  • High level of verbal and written communication and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirablealong with relevant industry-based training certificates and experience.

A current Australian Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements for this role.

This role is covered by the Educational Services (Post-Secondary education) Award level 9. Hourly rate from $70.04 including casual loading superannuation access to salary packaging.
