Every day as a Licensed Practical Nurse you will...
- Communicate with program staff daily about the medical care of children.
- Manage health and wellness needs for one or more students.
- Collaborate with program and health professionals to provide educational communication and behavioral support in a safe and healthy environment.
- Collect and report health data for students.
This opportunitywill offer You:
- Schedule: 6:00am-2:00pm / every 3rd weekend
- Compensation: $26.68 - $30.41 per hour based on experience.

Pennsylvania Childrens Services (DPACS) serves children adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders intellectual and developmental disabilities behavioral emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF) acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP) assessment services community-based mental health services community-based employment training and social skills training and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities autism spectrum disorders concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania. Previous clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Two years of recent clinical nursing experience preferred or completion of a Nursing refresher course. Proficient computer skills mastery of Microsoft Office Applications experience with data collection/analyzing platforms Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently prioritize manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adhere to established guidelines.
Valid drivers license must be maintained.
