Job Description
Part-Time Classroom Aide (Kindergarten & 2nd Grade) 23 days per week Christian Elementary School
Position Overview: We are seeking a kind dependable and Christ-centered individual to serve as a part-time classroom aide primarily supporting our Kindergarten and 2nd Grade classrooms. This role is ideal for someone who has a heart for children a love for the Lord and a desire to support teachers and students in a nurturing Christian learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and classroom support under the guidance of the classroom teacher
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce lessons and support learning
- Help prepare materials and assist with classroom organization
- Supervise students in the classroom during recess or transitions as needed
- Support classroom management and contribute to a peaceful Christ-honoring environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and a servant-hearted attitude in helping where needed
Qualifications:
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to serve Him through education
- A clear calling and love for working with young children
- Experience working with students preferably in an elementary classroom setting
- Patience warmth and strong communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and collaborate with teachers and staff
- High school diploma required; college coursework in education or child development is a plus
Schedule: 23 days per week (hours may vary slightly depending on classroom needs)
