Job Description
We are searching for a Refrigeration Tech someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you will perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Refrigeration and associated systems in accordance with departmental hospital and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections planned maintenance service and repairs to refrigeration equipment of all types sizes and temperature ranges to ensure a safe environment for patients staff and visitors
- Provide notification of equipment shutdowns to appropriate leadership departmental personnel and Service Response Center Operators
- Maintain documentation to accurately record equipment problems and failures specifically including but not limited to work order completeness refrigerant usage and recovery logs
- Report major failures and equipment malfunctions to Manager
- Perform troubleshooting and problem solving maintenance duties for refrigeration and associated systems and equipment according to standards established by management team
- Demonstrate technical knowledge depth for refrigeration and associated systems according to

- Demonstrate work product meets the expected criteria Demonstrate accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic and teamwork
- Ensures effective communication as demonstrated by maintaining good rapport and cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers.
Qualifications Required:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience as a refrigeration service-related technician
Preferred:
- Hospital experience
- Other mechanical systems experience
