Embedded Build Systems&Toolchain Engineer

Embedded Build Systems&Toolchain Engineer
Workplace: 557260 HermannstadtWhat to expect:
Development and maintenance of build systems for multi-processor Linux platforms using Yocto Project and/or Buildroot
Build configuration and integration for Zephyr RTOS using west Kconfig and device trees
Integration and configuration of embedded toolchains including compilers (GCC/Clang) and debuggers (GDB JTAG)
Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for automated build testing and deployment
Use of Docker for reproducible build environments
Integration of tools for code analysis security scanning and SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) generation
Management of project dependencies and ensuring license compliance
Documentation of build systems and CI/CD processes
What you bring along:
Completed technical degree in Computer Science Engineering or a similar field
Strong experience with CMake Make bitbake (Yocto) Buildroot and Ninja
Solid understanding of embedded systems including MPSoC IPC memory management and RTOS
Hands-on knowledge of the Yocto Project Buildroot and Zephyr RTOS (including Kconfig west and device trees)
Proficiency in GCC/Clang toolchains GDB JTAG and performance tools such as perf
Practical experience with Python and Bash scripting
Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Jenkins
Familiarity with Docker for isolated development/build environments
Strong knowledge of Git workflows
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
