Job Title:Social Media Manager South Malmaison & Hotel du Vin

Were looking for a regional Social Media Manager to lead organic channel content across a portfolio of our hotels at Malmaison and Hotel du Vin in the South of England. This is a hands-on field-based role focused on capturing and creating platform-native content that showcases each hotels character drives engagement and supports commercial objectives. Your home location (base) will be taken into account when allocating the region youll cover.

Youll be out regularly in our properties building relationships with hotel teams and surfacing content opportunities that reflect what guests love about our brands. Youll collaborate with the PR & Social Lead and the wider marketing team to keep content aligned to tone calendar and campaigns while maintaining a strong sense of regional relevance.

This is a great role for someone confident with both the camera and the caption someone whos passionate about hospitality obsessed with social trends and can turn whats happening on the ground into stories people want to watch and share.

What youll be doing as Social Media Manager:

  • Own the social content strategy and calendar for your region aligned with the overarching brand(s) strategy.
  • Plan capture edit and post original content across Instagram TikTok Facebook and other relevant channels.
  • React to trends and opportunities in real-time identifying ways to make our hotels part of the wider cultural conversation.
  • Partner with hotel teams to capture local content support events and surface unique stories.
  • Maintain a consistent tone and visual identity across all posts reflecting the distinctive styles of Malmaison and Hotel du Vin.
  • Support influencer activity on a regional basis in collaboration with the PR & Social Lead.
  • Use scheduling and monitoring tools to track performance and engagement reporting insights back into the wider team.
  • Stay on top of platform changes content trends and competitor activity bringing fresh ideas to the table.

What were looking for:

  • Working knowledge of both organic and paid social.
  • Proven experience managing and creating social content for a lifestyle hospitality or guest-facing consumer brand.
  • Confident using social scheduling and analytics tools such as Brandwatch Sprout Social Sprinklr or Hootsuite.
  • Platform-native knowledge of Instagram Pinterest YouTube Facebook and TikTok with a strong grasp of content formats and algorithm trends.
  • Skilled at filming and editing on mobile apps with a good eye for framing pacing and narrative.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to build relationships across different hotel teams and departments.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while staying connected to the central team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable travelling regularly within your region to stay close to whats happening on site.
