We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a Full-Time Prior Authorization/Pre-Cert Coordinator in our Charlotte office. The ideal candidate has at least two years of prior authorization experience for injections imaging studies and/or surgeries. This is not a clinical or case manager position. This is a revenue cycle position. Must have the ability to multi-task adjust to shifting priorities while remaining productive and have a high degree of accuracy. Must follow-through document stay attentive to details and have excellent phone skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work closely with the pre-certification team to achieve timely pre-certification authorizations. This position is 100% contact with insurance companies or internal staff and has no patient interaction.
- Communicates with insurance companies to obtain pre-certification authorizations for surgeries imaging studies procedures etc.
- Demonstrates persistence when responding to denials from insurance carriers.
- Researches reads and understands policies and rules set forth by insurance plans regarding patient benefits.
- Understands medical terminology.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
