Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas Texas seeks to fill a position in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and providing evidence-based clinical care. Principal clinical assignment will be to provide clinical coverage and obstetrics and gynecological services at Clements University Hospital and university-based ambulatory clinic sites as well as teaching and mentoring to our students residents and fellows.
Candidates must have an M.D. degree; completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology; and have attained or be eligible for Texas medical licensure and certification by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215 which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information. To the extent this position requires the holder to research work on or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
