About the Role
10 shifts a fortnight
(7:00 - 14:00 4 shifts / 7:00 - 15:00 8 Shifts)
Monday - Friday.
This is an ideal position for an experienced cleaner with supervision experience looking to take on regular work with a set schedule.
About Location
Aegis Shorehaven is a new Aged Care Facility in the northern suburb of Alkimos. The Residence offers an innovative modern design providing space and comfort in a safe stylish and functional environment. Aegis Shorehaven will permit residents to enjoy a host of well-appointed amenities including an in-house cinema beauty salon hydrotherapy spa library caf alfresco courtyard dining quality furnishings and lounge areas where residents and guests can mingle in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
The Role
As an important part of the team you will be able to:
- Provide Facility cleaning to a high Aged Care standard.
- Use equipment and chemicals in accordance with training methods.
- Provide a clean and homely environment for our residents.
- Lead the cleaning team in a positive and safe manner.
- Mentor and encourage the cleaning team.
- Assist with the On-Boarding of new cleaning personnel.
- Liaise between Facility Manager and the Cleaning Team.

About You
To be successful in this position you will:
- Have extensive previous cleaning experience in a health care setting.
- Be able to work within a team and independently.
- Be proactive solution driven and reliable.
- Have high attention to cleaning detail.
- Knowledge of infection control principles
- Have a high level of English communication skills both verbal and written.
- Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
Previous experience in leading staff will see you excel in this role.
