Job Description
- As a Clinical Developer you will play a vital role in the Ultrasound Advanced development team towards new feature development.
- Clinical Developer requires (Cardiac) the candidate to be registered as a Clinical Sonographer with accreditation ARDCS (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in Clinical Development is highly preferred.
- Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to national guidelines for procedures and scanning protocols.
- Knowledge of ultrasound physics and implementing knowledge to effectively provide constructive feedback on input for development.
- Ensuring patient safety monitoring the patient for potentially dangerous physical and/or emotional change
- Abide by all HIPAA standards for patient privacy.
- Provide clinical support in executing Clinical oriented tests Image Quality and performance on Ultrasound scanners and applications
- Responsible for proving consultation to define test strategies and test scenarios with Clinical workflow scenarios
- Working with multiple global teams
- Utilize specialist knowledge to support feature development
- On occasion support local external clinical evaluation on SW or equipment with external clinical collaborators.
- A Bachelor s /Master s degree with Sonography with ultrasound experience and academic certifications desired.
- Prior experience working in Healthcare R&D desired
- Good in-depth knowledge of basic ultrasound system architecture clinical workflows and used technology.
- Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
- Knowledge of Product development lifecycle
- Experience in training and presenting to individuals and large groups
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements for R&D is a must.
- BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ARDMS certified (or equivalent). Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments.
- Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts practices and procedures of particular area of specialization.
- Must have excellent written verbal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates a basic knowledge of computer skills.
