Job Description
Role: Vertex O Series Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term
Job Description:
Vertex Certification is mandatory
1. Gather business requirements related to tax calculation determination and reporting.
2. Configure Vertex O Series and integrate it with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle EBS/Fusion SAP).
3. Analyze tax rules rates and jurisdictions to ensure correct setup.
4. Lead Vertex solution design workshops with business and technical teams.
5. Support tax automation exemption certificate management and tax data reconciliation.
6. Manage end-to-end testing including unit integration and UAT.
7. Provide production support troubleshoot tax calculation errors and resolve integration issues.
8. Collaborate with tax finance and IT stakeholders to ensure tax compliance.
9. Prepare functional documentation: business process designs functional specs configuration guides and user manuals.
10. Stay updated on tax legislation changes and Vertex software upgrades; recommend updates as needed.
