Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Valmeyer IL 62295
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Mon Fri 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (100% onsite)
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate Level 3 supports daily warehouse operations such as:
- Order pulling
- Inbound receiving
- Housekeeping
- General warehouse duties
Operates equipment like reach trucks and pallet jacks.
Must work in cold environments (32 F to 0 F).
Strong communication and urgency are key.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment & Inventory (50%)
- Pull scan and store orders accurately
- Use RF scanners & WMS systems
Housekeeping & Maintenance (40%)
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Follow sanitation & safety procedures
Other Duties (10%)
- Support warehouse team as needed
- Prioritize tasks in fast-paced setting
Requirements
- 1 year experience with stand-up forklift (must be on resume)
- Lift up to 100 lbs unassisted
- Comfortable in cold storage (32 F to 0 F)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic & commitment
Work Environment & Gear
- Cold environment: 32 F to 0 F
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Dress code: jeans (no rips) hoodless sweatshir
