We are seeking a Nurse Manager II ICU to lead and inspire a dedicated team in delivering exceptional patient care within a high-acuity ICU environment. This position plays a pivotal role in implementing best practice models managing nursing operations and ensuring safe efficient and compassionate care across the continuum.
This is an onsite leadership role based in Redwood City CA managing multiple ICU operations fostering collaboration across departments and optimizing clinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and implement care delivery models and clinical standards across ICU units.
Supervise staff performance coaching development and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage quality assurance programs.
Collaborate with physicians case managers and other departments to improve patient outcomes.
Oversee staffing scheduling resource allocation and equipment management.
Monitor budget utilization and participate in cost control and productivity initiatives.
Prepare for and lead audits surveys and emergency preparedness plans.
Champion change initiatives to enhance patient safety workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in California
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 5 years of ICU experience in an acute care hospital
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience as an ANM or Nurse Manager
Current BLS certification
ICU experience in a Neuro ICU setting
Experience working in unionized environments
Master s degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field
