Job Description
Qualifications:
Fluency and specialisation with Java Springboot framework including object-oriented design
Experience working with both Relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience building products of micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
Experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems (architecture design patterns reliability scaling assessment and proposals)
Experience writing CICD pipelines. Git Hub Actions experience preferred.
Experience in existing operational portals such as Azure Portal
Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
Experience in security protocols and products: understanding of Active Directory SAML OAuth and other Authentication protocols.
Strong problem-solving ability
Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management source code building deployment operations real-time communication)
Good to have Retail Industry experience.
Experience:
8 years of professional software development experience within a Java and Springboot framework.
3 years of experience with architecture and design. Experience in converting Monolith applications to modern event-driven or microservices architecture.
3 years of experience with OCI GCP Azure or another cloud service. Azure Preferred.
3 years of experience writing CICD pipelines. Git Hub Actions experience preferred.
2 years of experience in Dockers Kubernetes and container registries.
3 experience in working with Confluent Kafka writing Kafka producers and consumers.
3 years of experience in working with Monitoring and observability tools like Splunk and Google Log Analyzer.
