We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA & Business Support Analyst. In this role you will help ensure the quality and integrity of applications used to support trade processing settlements reconciliations reporting and other critical back-office operations. You will work closely with QA leads business analysts and operations teams to validate system enhancements communicate requirements and rewrite documentation to support our digital transformation initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn the inner workings of investment operations while building technical and analytical skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute test cases for trade lifecycle systems and other complex financial applications (e.g. order management accounting or reconciliation platforms).
Work alongside QA leads to log track and verify defects using industry-standard tools (e.g. JIRA).
Act as a communication bridge between the QA team and investment operations/business users to clarify testing scope and functionality.
Analyze and review legacy business process documents operational workflows and user manuals.
Rewrite and align documentation with newly implemented or enhanced systems.
Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles with business stakeholders and help facilitate issue resolution.
Contribute to the improvement of QA and documentation processes by providing insights and feedback.
Required Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business language.
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented fast-paced environment.
Basic familiarity with QA processes including writing test cases and using defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
Experience creating or editing user documentation process flows or training materials.
