Position: PRT English Teacher
Location: India
Work Mode: On-Site
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and comprehensive lesson plans for English language learners in the primary education setting.
- Deliver high-quality instruction that meets diverse student needs and fosters academic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and productive learning space.
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
- Utilize a variety of teaching resources and instructional technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the English curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with students parents and school staff regarding academic expectations and student performance.
- Provide individualized support and intervention for students requiring additional assistance.
- Organize and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in education and teaching strategies.
- Foster a love for reading and writing through creative and stimulating activities.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet different learning styles.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievements and assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification or license for primary education in India.
- Strong command of the English language both written and verbal.
- Proven experience as an English teacher or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of primary education pedagogy and curriculum standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching tools.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to assess and cater to diverse student needs.
- Creative mindset for curriculum development and lesson planning.
