Job Title: PRT Computer Teacher
Location: On-Site India
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging computer literacy curricula for primary students.
- Teach fundamental computer skills including word processing spreadsheet management and presentation software.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning and engagement.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with educational standards.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a holistic educational approach.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to technology and computer science.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior effectively.
- Provide support to students in completing their assignments and projects.
- Assist in the development of educational materials and computer-based resources.
- Participate in professional development programs to stay updated on teaching best practices.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Support the schools objectives and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification in a relevant subject area.
- Proven experience as a computer teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and educational technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school staff.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Familiarity with educational software and online teaching tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
- Patience and empathy in working with students.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Willingness to learn and implement new teaching methods and technologies.
- Knowledge of curriculum standards and assessment methods.
