Call Center Billing Representative
Deliver high-quality customer service in the insurance industry by managing 30 40 daily inbound calls regarding billing inquiries. Hybrid role based in Markham (3 days in office) with rotating shifts including evenings and Saturdays. Ideal for professionals with contact centre experience.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $19.15.
5-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid model 3 days per week on-site.
Call centre hours:
Monday Friday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Saturday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Flexibility to work within these hours is required.
Responsibilities:
Handle approximately 30 40 inbound billing-related calls per day.
Deliver excellent customer service to Advisors branch staff and customers.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with underwriters.
Act as a company ambassador for inbound billing inquiries
Communicate clearly and empathetically by phone and email.
Accurately identify customer needs and respond professionally.
Collect and record relevant information to ensure seamless customer support.
Take ownership of customer interactions and ensure thorough follow-up.
What you will need to succeed:
1 2 years of contact centre experience preferably in the insurance or banking industry.
Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Quick to adapt to evolving procedures and surroundings.
Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional telephone and email etiquette.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer concerns.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and web-based/Windows applications.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings and Saturdays.
Bilingual French is an asset.
