Freelance .NET Backend & Angular Frontend Developer
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled .NET Backend & Angular Frontend Developer to join our client in Brussels. In this role you will focus on building and maintaining backend functionalities for finance applications while also contributing to frontend development using Angular. You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting developers who are new to Angular fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development:
Design develop and maintain robust backend functionalities using .NET for IAS applications.
Implement efficient APIs data processing workflows and integration layers.
Frontend Development:
Support and enhance frontend features using Angular ensuring a seamless user experience.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate requirements into responsive and performant web interfaces.
Mentorship & Support:
Assist and mentor developers who are new to Angular providing guidance and best practices.
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and code walkthroughs to uplift team capability.
Collaboration & Quality Assurance:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between backend and frontend components.
Participate in code reviews testing and documentation to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Contribute to project planning task estimation and ensure timely delivery of assigned work.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in .NET (C# Core Web API) with strong experience in backend development.
Hands-on experience with Angular (v8) for building scalable and maintainable frontend applications.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs SQL/NoSQL databases and modern software architecture principles.
Experience with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize code for performance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
Ability and willingness to mentor junior developers especially in Angular
Nice-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure AWS etc.).
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks for both .NET and Angular.
Understanding of IAS (International Accounting Standards) or experience in financial applications.
