Job Description
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations ensuring efficient receipt storage and dispatch of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse staff coordinating workflows maintaining safety and quality standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The main working hours for this role will be Monday Friday 08:00-16:00 however flexibility will be key to this role in providing holiday & sickness cover to the following Team Leaders shifts. Sunday Thursday 22:00-06:00 Monday Friday 06:00-14:00 & Monday Friday 14:00-22:00.
Qualifications :
Your role as Warehouse Team Leader
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure daily targets and productivity KPIs are met.
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee receiving storing picking packing and dispatching processes.
- Enforce health and safety standards and ensure team compliance.
- Train and mentor new and existing team members.
- Maintain a clean organised and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. transport inventory customer service).
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as shift planning reporting and documentation.
What youll bring
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g. MS Office WMS software).
- Ability to lead motivate and develop a team.
- Forklift licence

- Flexibility to work shifts weekends or overtime as required.
