Whether youve just qualified as an HGV Class 2 driver or youre an experienced driver seeking a better work life balance Brakes is the place to build a career and feel like you truly make a difference.  In this role youll be part of our dedicated transport team based in Harlow supporting care homes and hospitals with the collection and delivery of fresh and frozen food.  We know that you love driving so we will pre-load your vehicle for you onto cages so that you can easily make your deliveries and spend more time behind the wheel.  Youll work on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern - giving you plenty of time to enjoy your days off. 

All of our drivers receive a company induction and regular refreshers from our onsite Driver Trainers.  Our team is known for its friendly positive culture people join us for the company stability but they stay for the opportunity to grow their careers.  Brakes are fully committed to helping you develop your skills in a safe structured and supportive environment. To be successful youll need a valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 points. A good eye for detail strong spatial awareness and the ability to stay calm under pressure will help you thrive in this busy but rewarding role.
