- Lead and support a team of software engineers.
- Spend 30% of time in the code (reviewing code PRs etc.).
- Mentor and coach team members regularly.
- Set goals give feedback and manage performance.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Guide Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Partner with product and design teams.
- Plan and prioritize team projects.
- Break down work and manage timelines.
- Support architectural planning and technical direction.

- Support hiring and onboarding efforts.
- Act as a bridge between engineering and other teams.
Qualifications :
- 5-7 years of leading and managing Android mobile teams
- Minimum 5 years experience designing and implementing enterprise grade software.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin for Android
- Familiarity with Android 9 (API Level 28) and up required
- Experience in working with scalable Android UI
- A clear understanding of the difference between mobile product libraries mobile applications and client-specific extensions
- Understanding of distributed multi-tier infrastructure.
- Knowledge of architecture design patterns such as MVVM
- Experience with multithreading memory management
- Knowledge of Android performance profiling tools and optimization techniques
- Experience in functional testing
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Soft Skills:
- Easy-going and flexible individual who can integrate and function within a pre-existing team
- Can lead small teams of engineers
- Self-starter can operate with minimal direction
- Excellent oral and written communication skills capable of leading design/architecture & training sessions.
- A creative thinker and experienced problem solver.
- Proven at multi-tasking
