Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Optical Manager to join this growing private practice. In this role you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the optical department ensuring exceptional customer service and sales performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical sales and management combined with a passion for helping customers find the perfect eyewear solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the optical sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional service.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure the optimal selection of frames and lenses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor staff on product knowledge sales techniques and customer service excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a positive customer experience.


Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay of $25.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Bonus incentives averaging approximately $1000 per month
  • Tuesday - Saturday schedule
  • Healthcare and dental insurance 50% covered by the company

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading teams customer service and sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in optical sales and management is required.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen understanding of optical products and trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
