Responsibilities

Responsibilties:

  • Lead the development and launch of a centralized Fixed Asset (FA) Compliance and Consulting practice integrating services with existing tax and Client Accounting Services (CAS) offerings.
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of a new FA software solution overseeing data migration from legacy systems and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and offshore teams to standardize processes improve operational efficiency and ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Provide strategic guidance on leveraging tax legislation (e.g. Inflation Reduction Act CHIPS Act) to maximize client benefits through accelerated depreciation cost segregation and tax credit optimization.
  • Manage client relationships by delivering high-value insights from fixed asset data identifying cross-selling opportunities and enhancing client retention.
  • Support phased client acquisition strategies beginning with existing clients and expanding to new prospects while refining service delivery models.
  • Oversee risk mitigation efforts related to technology data security client adoption and talent integration to ensure a successful and sustainable practice launch.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field Masters degree in related field a plus
  • CPA prefererd
  • 8 years of industry specific related consulting and advisory experience
  • Proven experience in fixed asset accounting compliance and consulting ideally with a background in tax optimization and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in launching or scaling new service lines including experience with software implementation and process centralization.
  • Strong understanding of tax legislation affecting capital assets.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including offshore resources with a focus on quality control communication and performance management.
  • Ability to analyze complex asset portfolios and deliver actionable insights that drive client value and firm revenue.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead phased rollouts manage change and ensure timely execution of key milestones.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with clients and collaborate effectively across departments.

Wipfli values fair transparent and competitive compensation considering each candidates unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $208000 to $311600 with offers typically not made at the maximum allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location skills experience training/education licensure certifications business needs current associate pay and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including but not limited to individual and Firm performance.
