Responsible for growing sales in a territory through increased penetration of existing accounts as well as developing new business opportunities within the industrial healthcare retail and specialty gases markets. The Territory Manager will be responsible for all aspects of account management including but not limited to lead generation prospecting account development managing multiple projects simultaneously identifying customer needs creating proposals negotiating contracts closing sales maintaining compliance standards and working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. This position offers advancement opportunities within our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Generates leads and develops new business opportunities within assigned territory by establishing and expanding relationships with customers
Maintains existing accounts and increases sales volume by servicing existing clients and selling additional products and services
Identifies opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency for both current and prospective clients
Negotiates contracts and closes sales
Manages multiple projects at any given time
Keeps accurate records files reports and maintains paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures
Adheres to safety policies and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience
1-5 years outside sales experience (industrial medical retail)
Must have valid drivers license
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Must pass background check
For this position you must have prior account management sales experience as well as strong computer skills. Ideal candidate has experience with developing new business ventures. Experience with the industrial or welding sectors is desirable.
