encing Support Specialist provides excellent technical and practical end-user support of our Audio/Video and Conferencing hardware software and conference room spaces to Childrens MN employees and contract staff. End user training and technical advice / guidance is also a function of this role. Prompt and courteous customer service is both emphasized and expected. The ability to effectively communicate both in writing and in conversation is a must. Must be comfortable working in patient care environments.

Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.

Experience:
* Typically has 3 or more years of experience supporting conference room technologies.
* Typically has 3 or more years of experience supporting audio/video production technologies in both live and virtual events preferred.
* Experience providing hands-on support setup and facilitation of audio-visual systems applications and equipment for corporate meetings.
* Experience with podcast production and support preferred.
* Experience supporting the Microsoft Teams preferred.
* Experience using ServiceNow for managing service tickets and requests preferred.
* Experience in design implementation and maintenance of complex conference rooms preferred.
* Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment and working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes is preferred.
* Experience in participating in cross-functional project team environments.
* Experience in working and collaborating with diverse groups of people.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Strong technical knowledge of conferencing and audio/video production equipment and systems.
* Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Teams in support of meetings and conferences including; live events and breakout room feature/functionality support and integration of conferencing and audio/video production equipment.
* Working technical knowledge of Microsoft Teams Surface Hubs.
* Service oriented attitude and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other colleagues and end users in entry level to executive positions.
* Able to read write and understand technical manuals and standard work documentation.
* Ability to act in a consultative role to understand functional business processes related information technology needs and develop solutions and/or proposals from them.
* Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
* Willingness to be flexible with schedule to support planned occasional after-hours and weekend events.
* Willingness to travel within the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
