About the Role

Are you passionate about driving excellence in healthcare quality patient safety and performance outcomes We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Quality & Performance Improvement to support the strategic direction and operational execution of our quality initiatives. In this leadership role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead data-driven performance improvement projects ensure regulatory compliance and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities

What Youll Do

  • Supports the Director in overseeing the development of electronic submissions to ensure measurement results are accurately prepared and submitted electronically.
  • Coordinates the development of educational programs to orient hospital staff to quality measurement goals and objectives including key components of Performance Improvement and Patient Safety initiatives.
  • Promotes a strong commitment to quality healthcare patient satisfaction education and research in alignment with the hospitals mission and goals.
  • Ensures staff are properly trained and regularly evaluated on their understanding of and adherence to job-specific compliance policies and procedures
  • Oversees the integration of chart abstraction and data analytics to support quality measurement and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Designs implements and oversees a formal data collection system to deliver comprehensive statistical reports to clinical and hospital departments.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in a health care related field Public Health Business Administration or a related field required. A Masters Degree
    preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree CPHQ or CPPS
  • At least five (5) years of quality improvement and/or analytics experience including three (3) years at a progressively
    responsible management/leadership level required.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or Certified Professional in Patient Safety required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to orally relate complex information in a
    reliable fashion to both leadership and governance as well as general staff members and the medical staff.
  • Must demonstrate a strong orientation to customer satisfaction effective teamwork problem solving and utilize small group dynamics in conflict management.
  • Strong background in statistical process control and/or other quality improvement and measurement techniques necessary. Computer literacy required.
  • Additional related experience may be substituted for the Masters Degree on a yearforyear basis.

Compensation(NJ Job Transparency Law)

The expected salary range for this position is $111618 $167429 per year in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
