ING Hubs Poland is hiring!
We are looking for you if:
- you are a Middleware Specialist and have at least 3 years experience in administration and configuration of Apache Tomcat/Jboss/ WebSphere
- have good understanding ofweb application architecturein production environments
- are looking for a role where your skills truly matter and where you can further develop
- you are able to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
- ability to troubleshoot issues related to performance logging thread dumps
- knowledge ofLinux systems(preferablyRHEL) including system administration Service and log management and Security configuration
- experience in writing automation and deployment scripts
- familiarity with at least one scripting language:Python orPowerShell.
English level: B2
Youll get extra points for:
- experience with other middleware technologies-Nginx
- solid hands-on experience withAnsiblefor automation and configuration management
- familiarity withCI/CD tools(e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI)
- proficiency in usingversion control systemssuch asGit.
Your responsibilities:
- maintain configure and enhance middleware environments based onApache TomcatJBossNGINX orWebSphere
- automate deployment and administrative tasks usingAnsibleand scripting (PowerShell/Python)
- applysecurity patches manageSSL/TLS certificates and perform regular updates on application servers
- Identify and remediatevulnerabilitiesand maintain asecure server environment
- monitor applicationperformance and availability analyze logs alerts thread dumps
- troubleshoot and resolvemiddleware-related incidents
- create and maintaintechnical documentationoperational procedures andinfrastructure standards
- preparetestUATpre-production andproductionenvironments for new deployments
- ensure compliance withaudit requirementsandsecurity policies.
Information about the squad:
We operate inlarge-scale enterprise environmentsand prioritizeautomationsecurity andsystem stability. The Middleware team will ultimately consist of8 specialists(covering Messaging Scheduling and Application Server Management). Youll collaborate withING teams across multiple countries.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be Engineer II.
