Job Description
Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean safe and welcoming spaces Kendal at Lexington is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team!
As a Floor Technician youll play a key role in maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our community by caring for all types of flooring including carpet tile hardwood and more. This position is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic a positive attitude and a desire to work in a supportive and resident-focused environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Essential Duties
Perform routine and deep cleaning of floors including stripping waxing buffing and shampooing
Operate various floor care equipment (buffers extractors auto scrubbers)
Follow safety and infection control procedures
Assist with general housekeeping tasks as needed
Provide friendly courteous service to residents visitors and staff
Qualifications
Previous floor care experience preferred (but were willing to train the right candidate!)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina and attention to detail
