JOB SUMMARY

As an Environmental Technician at LIVIC Civil youll play a critical role. This person will be a self-motivated professional who can confidently work with a variety of people from different backgrounds within the Civil Engineering field. Were looking for an organized proactive individual who is a quick study and can communicate effectively manage shifting priorities and tackle complex challenges. Someone who is proactive curious and willing to experiment with emerging tools nd technologies to enhance our business and project workflow efficiencies while we aim to develop you professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage environmental projects.

- Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects.

- Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings.

- Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets schedules and deadlines

- Effectively organize write and edit draft proposals reports and other documents.

- Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients develop additional work within existing projects and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients.

- Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments. Coach train and motivate staff assigned to Environmental projects. Participate in interviewing and hiring staff.

- Coordinate other work groups across office locations and disciplines on an as-needed basis.

- Interface effectively and professionally with clients contractors subcontractors staff project personnel supervisors and others.

Qualifications

  • :
    • 2 years of experience
    • Wetland delineation experience required
    • Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permitting experience a plus.
    • Preparation of various state and federal permits associated with waters obstructions and encroachments.
    • Proficient in aquatic resource delineations
    • Proficient in aquatic resource crossing permit preparations
    • Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and technical analyses
    • Comprehensive understanding of Pennsylvania regulatory requirements
    • Desire to learn a wide variety of disciplines
    • Strong technical writing and communication skills
    • Microsoft Office software proficient
  • Preferred:
    • CADD or GIS experience a plus
    • Hand-held GPS experience preferred
