POSITION SUMMARY

This role will support the CHS mission by providing effective management of all aspects of assigned affordable housing properties. Will ensure that the affordable housing program complies with landlord-tenant laws and HUD regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates efforts to establish the management of rent tenants property maintenance and repairs and HUD regulations.
  • Provides effective and supportive leadership and supervision to apartment managers.
  • Enforces occupancy policies and procedures.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives and establishes and operates efforts in sustainability and continuous quality improvement of program.
  • Accepts and carries out special assignments or duties when requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Travel as needed with overnight stays.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Associates Degree (AA or AS) in related field plus two years of related work experience or combination and experience to equal four years. Basic knowledge of Federal Assisted Housing programs is preferred.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of Fair Housing
  • Knowledge of federal funders and local and federal laws

MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide valid drivers license and proof of personal valid vehicle insurance.
