About the role:

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in managing and delivering of high-quality events and projects aligned with the objectives of the funded program. The position is responsible for planning and coordinating projects managing logistics and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of program activities. Operating under general direction the role requires strong project and event management skills including organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Reporting to the Manager Transnational Education and Partnerships the role will

  • Plan and implement detailed project to support timely and effective delivery of the program activities
  • Organise the logistics and implementation of events within agreed timeframes and budgets ensuring the objectives of the program are fully met
  • Act as a coach and work with team members and internal and external stakeholders including faculties and international partners to plan and deliver the projects and events
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day project operations ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards
  • Communicate with influence and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support the successful delivery of the project
  • Create and manage up-to-date project documentation including contracts reports and evaluations. Reports to the funding body are within required timelines and fully meet the required standards

To be successful youll have:

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience in project and event management
  • Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in project and event management
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage projects in the international education area
