Sr. Counter Party Risk AnalystLocation:
CA - Westlake VillageWhat youll do:
As a Risk Analyst youll conduct due diligence review and analysis of new prospective correspondent clients and monitor a portfolio of existing delegated correspondent clients which consist of mortgage companies banks and credit unions that sell loans to AmeriHome. Youll be responsible for providing financial and business analysis and recommendations to management.- Manage a portfolio of delegated correspondent clients. Analyze and spread financial statements. Identify risks trends and concerns and write comprehensive analysis. Data entry of client information.
- Complete checklists to ensure all review items are received and completed. Communicate with clients via email and phone to obtain documentation. Draft and send legal documents and notices to clients.
- Verify accuracy of data between documents and systems. Research and collect data from multiple web sources. Schedule and participate in conference calls with clients to ask financial and business questions.
- Assist and help train Jr. Counterparty Risk Analysts. Process new Seller Applications and provide recommendations to AmeriHome executive management. Perform ongoing watch-list reviews on clients for concerns with financial or loan performance.
What youll need:
- 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelors degree in related field required.
- Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including sales operations capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
- Intermediate experience with reviewing and analyzing financial statements.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
