The Family Place is seeking a dynamic Early Care and Education Program (ECEP) Supervisor for our small 5-STAR rated early childhood center. The position can be part-time or full-time depending on the needs of the right candidate. The Family Place offers a supportive culture with experienced teachers and the support of on-site family services such as clinical staff home-visiting parent education and support groups playgroups and many other services that support the children and families enrolled in our ECEP team. The supervisor is supported by a Program Director as well as a management ECEP Supervisor has overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining a safe environment that fosters learning and healthy development of all infants and toddlers enrolled in The Family Places early childhood program. The Family Place has two classrooms and serves 16 infants and primary responsibilities of the ECEP Supervisor are: Build responsive respectful relationships with children families staff members and community partners. Promote childrens physical social emotional and cognitive development by overseeing the planning and implementation of a creative daily curriculum. Ensure that caregivers are informed through clear and constant communication. Ensure that all children receive required screenings and assessments Oversee the use of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and the implementation of its action plan. Oversee bi-annual Caregiver-Teacher conferences. Partner with the Program Director to implement specific grants and programs Maintain State of Vermont Licensing and STARS status in good standing by meeting programs requirements completing annual reports and fulfilling all re-certification procedures. Oversee all enrollment activities Oversee staff scheduling and subbing needs. Complete staff performance review and goal setting process by June 30th every year. Participate in recruitment and selection of new ECEP staff and provide Program orientation to new hires. Ensure that the ECEP meets all regulations and requirements for various food programs Provide supervision and mentorship to all teachers including but not limited to monthly supervision yearly performance review and goal STATEMENT:The Family Place strives to be a supportive environment and to continue to learn about and practice skills related to diversity equity and inclusion.
