Amazons Transportation Operations Management team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to drive large scale projects programs and technical initiatives. As a Manager Planning and Development for TOM planning you will be responsible for leading a team that supports the labor planning for 150 Fulfillment and Sortation Centers. This role will be responsible for partnering with multiple stakeholders to forecast the labor planning needs for TOM for peak and non-peak timeframes. A critical part of this role is to develop stable models for the labor planning team and to be able to take the stabilized models to the next level from an automation standpoint. This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with Operations Finance Recruiting and HR stakeholders in a high-pressure environment. You will manage a high-visibility program and partner with all levels of leadership to exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.

- Bachelors Degree
- Experience managing a team
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
