Job Description
St. Thomas Aquinas High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Track Coach to lead and inspire our student-athletes for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for track and field a commitment to fostering sportsmanship and the ability to motivate students to reach their full potential both on and off the track. Responsibilities:Plan organize and conduct daily practices and training sessionsTeach fundamental and advanced track and field techniquesFoster a positive inclusive and supportive team environmentSupervise athletes during practices meets and travelCommunicate effectively with students parents and school administrationEnsure the safety and well-being of all team membersPromote academic achievement and personal growth among athletesMaintain equipment and track facilities Qualifications:Previous coaching experience in track and field (preferred)Knowledge of various track and field events and training methodsStrong leadership communication and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with athletes parents and staffCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Commitment to the mission and values of St. Thomas Aquinas High School How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to Dave Morissette STA Athletic Director at Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
