Overview
Underthe direction of a Site AdministratortheDirector or Chief ofInstructionalPrograms the Director of Human Resources or the Superintendents designee the primaryresponsibilityof the Enrichment and Support Teacheristo ensurestudentshave a credentialed teacher toenableother teachers to have their preparation time. VVhen meeting Nith classrooms groups or oneon oneNithstudentsthisteacher Nillalso supportstudentsintheir academic achievementmay beasked tospecificallysupportlearning inspecificcontent areas(e.g.
ScienceMath)andtosupport the members of the schoolstaff(to assure thateffectiveandefficientsystems are in place to support continuousacademicprogress). Thisindividual mayalsoserve asa member of thelearningcommunityinvarious aspects of theinstructional program includingbut notlimitedto the folloNing:co-teachingNithanotherteacherasmaybeneeded;supportingdistrictand/or schoolinitiatives;implementing assessments; monitoring student progressand establishing and supportingbehavioraland RTI/Support practices; differentiatinginstructionto meet studentneeds;andpromoting safeschools.
Providesandmaintainsadequatelesson plansandlesson plansandinstructions inthe case of their oNn knoNn absences(for potentialsubstituteteachers).
Useseffectiveinstructionalstrategies for staffmembersasrequested.
usesinformationfrom the site administratorandmain teacher in regardstolessonplanning and/orinstructionalcontentdelivery.
EnsuresstudentshaveateacherNhocan instructtheminlieu oftheprimaryteacher
Provides andparents.
Manage materials neededforinstructionand assessmentincludingpreparingsortingdistributionorganization collectionand storageofmaterials.
Attendsconferences ormeetings related totheschools goals.
Respectstheindividualityandintegrityofeachstudent.
Maintainsconditions andpracticesNhich positivelyaffect the physical mentalhealthofstudents.
Reportsto themainofficetocheck forcommunication/mailand toreport theirarrivalasNellas theirdeparturefromthe schoolsite.
Performsthosenon-instructional dutiesandresponsibilities. includingsupervisory and Board ofEducationor thelocalsiteadministrator.
