The Real Estate Program/Finance Department of the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota invites applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of potential adjunct instructors. Adjunct appointments are without tenure and are not tenure-track appointments. Adjunct instructors may be hired as needed to teach one or multiple classes on a semester-by-semester basis.
This posting is for a pooled adjunct faculty position for continuous recruitment. Review of candidates is typically done three times annually spring summer and fall.
Salary Range:
$3951-$5065 per course (1.5 and 2-credit courses)
$5977-$7598 per course (3 and 4-credit courses)
As an adjunct faculty member in the Real Estate Program your primary responsibility will be to teach undergraduate courses. The department offers a variety of courses in real estate at the undergraduate level.
We welcome candidates with expertise in all areas of commercial real estate including Market Research & Analysis Real Estate Development Real Estate Finance & Investments Real Estate Law Property Management Appraisal Construction Project Management Real Estate Principles and other real estate courses as needed. Faculty will be required to teach in-person at either the Minneapolis or St. Paul campuses. Classes are held during the Fall (Sep-Dec) or Spring (Feb-May) semesters and may be held during the daytime or evening hours.
